In the lead up to Advanced Materials Competition 2026 (AdMaCom, September/October 2026), INAM is launching the AdMaCom Qualifiers with partners from around the globe. It’s an opportunity for startups to showcase their technology, and get a wild card for INAM’s award-winning programme and further prizes from our partners.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for startups working on AI solutions capable of extracting knowledge from publicly available scientific and technical documents and preparing it for machine learning-driven optimisation of materials and manufacturing processes.

Startups at all funding stages can apply. The ideal applicant offers an integrated, end-to-end solution rather than a combination of multiple point solutions. Check the application for full terms and conditions.

What are we looking for?

We are seeking startups in energy transition technologies with a strong hardware / advanced materials component and TRL 4–6 (validated concept to early pilot).

What are we looking for?

We are looking for startups working on AI-enabled materials discovery, circular and bio-based materials, next-generation packaging, and other advanced materials innovations.

Next steps

After the respective application deadlines, INAM and the Qualifier partner will review submissions and select the winners. In some cases, an online pitch day will give you the opportunity to present your startup and interact with the jury. One startup will be invited to join the Advanced Materials Competition program in September/October 2026. Any additional prizes, if applicable, will be outlined in the application.
