For the earliest stage startups/research spinoffs, INAM runs the AdMaLab incubation program. For startups gearing up to raise their Seed Rounds, we organise the AdMaCom , a 3-week accelerator program designed to set them up for success. Since 2022, we also run a secondary edition, AdMaCom Scale , curated for startups that are ready to scale up. Program overview Throughout the year we run Open Innovation Challenges with corporate or investment partners , such as Infineon and Continental, complementing R&D at strategic times during the innovation process. Open Innovation Challenge: FURTHER EXPANDING CIRCULAR ECONOMY SOLUTIONS IN THE TIRE INDUSTRY. Closed ABOUT THE CHALLENGE For us, end-of-life tires are a raw material in the wrong place. We believe that a circular economy is the model of the future. That's why we're looking for your innovative ideas to advance recovery, recycling and re-use of end-of-life tires. THE BRIEF INAM and Continental are looking for innovative ideas to further expand tire circularity. In our view, both the material and the design aspect will be central to tackle this challenge. Figuring out how to make tires fully circular also involves new concepts that enable an easier recycling process. ​ Detailed information will be shared with you after your application. Potential Benefits If you are chosen, you will have the opportunity to kick-start your Proof of Concept (PoC) and/or product development project with Continental immediately after the challenge. Continental will also provide funding. But that's not all; other equally important benefits include: ​ Developing your technology to a mature state with a real-world use case. The GROWTH-STAGE START UP ACCELERATOR for ADVANCED MATERIALS The Advanced Materials Competition (AdMaCom) is a 4 week Accelerator Program for Startups working on Advanced Materials and looking to scale up their technologies . ​ The Advanced Materials Competition Scale is the secondary format for the Advanced Materials Competition. AdMaCom Scale is spread out over 4 weeks instead of 2, allowing for easier participation of extremely busy startup founders. ​ AdMaCom Scale is geared towards later stage startups focusing on scaling up their technologies. Topics include: Pricing, Internationalisation & Marketing strategy, Valuation, Due Diligence & Exit Strategies, HR & Recruitment, How to build highly effective boards, Negotiation skills and Pitching for investment. ​ AdMaCom Scale is held in a hybrid format, bringing back the personal element of the accelerator to Berlin for 3 days in the 4th week with the first three weeks held online. ​ We will be selecting up to 12 startups per cohort to join this comprehensive 4-week program and learn how to take their innovative technologies to the next level.
