Berlin, Germany (19 November 2020)— INAM, the Innovation Network for Advanced Materials, will be holding not one, but two accelerator programs in 2021. The announcement comes as the call for applications opens for the first program in Spring of 2021.
About the Advanced Materials Competition
The Advanced Materials Competition (AdMaCom) is a fast-paced two week equity-free Accelerator Program for startups with novel technologies in Advanced Materials. Organized by the Innovation Network for Advanced Materials (INAM), the program brings together the brightest minds in materials to make the right connections and to gain access to the broad infrastructure that the network is known for. AdMaCom focuses on IP strategy, investment & funding opportunities, technical & business mentoring, pitch training and networking. These topics are what INAM have learned are the most important things for startups in Materials. The 2020 AdMaCom, which took place from October 5th – 16th 2020, was the 5th edition of the advanced materials accelerator. In past years, startups would travel to Berlin for the program, but due to the current pandemic, the 2020 program was online, making it easier for startups from anywhere in the world to participate. After seeing that an online version of the program could still bring startups the same degree of relevancy and usefulness, the Board at INAM have agreed to bring two AdMaComs in 2021.
The Spring and Autumn 2021 Programs
The 2021 programs will be the sixth and seventh editions of the accelerator. The Spring 2021 AdMaCom program is scheduled for April 26th to May 7th 2021 with the Demo Day taking place on May 6th. The Autumn 2021 AdMaCom program will take place on October 4th – 15th 2021 and the Demo Day on the 14th. The applications for the Spring 2021 program are being accepted now on the F6S platform until the 14th of February 2021. Applications for the Autumn 2021 program will be announced in early 2021.
