The Innovation Network for Advanced Materials Welcomes Dr. Asa Asadollahbaik as the Project Manager for the Advanced Materials Lab (AdMaLab)
Berlin, Germany (16/02/2022)— INAM, the Innovation Network for Advanced Materials welcomes Dr. Asa Asadollahbaik as the Project Manager for the Advanced Materials Lab (AdMaLab).
Dr. Asa Asadollahbaik, a startup founder and scientist, is joining INAM to act as the project manager of the newly established incubator program of INAM, AdMaLab. AdMaLab is a 12 month incubator program for early stage deep tech startups in the field of advanced materials, which aims to help startups in their business development, as well as technological development through collaboration with the IRIS center.
“I, myself, joined the two week startup program of INAM, AdMaCom in Autumn 2021 for my own startup. I was fascinated by the quality of workshops, and the great support that AdMaCom provided to the startups. Being a deep tech startup is a bit different from other types of startups and hence having access to mentors who provide the right advice was the most valuable asset of the AdMaCom program.” said Asa. “Now, I am very excited to join INAM to build AdMaLab for startups with deeptech needs and to help them develop their commercial skills as well as their technical product.”

About Dr. Asa Asadollahbaik
Asa is an optics and photonic scientist graduated from University of Southampton, UK, with additional research experience in KIT and University of Stuttgart in Germany. She has a variety of experience in optics and photonic devices and solutions, for different applications including photovoltaics, sensing, and bio applications. Currently, she is developing her startup with focus on cancer diagnostics using photonics technology (OM-LoT).
