#FounderFriday: ATLANT 3D Nanosystems - Atomic Layer 3D Printing

Established in 2018, ATLANT 3D Nanosystems is a fast growing deep tech company based on patent pending selective area atomic scale processing technology.

ATLANT 3D is the first in the world to combine its unique expertise in several fields:

  • micro-/nanofabrication and microfluidics and fluid dynamics,

  • high precision motion systems, surface chemistry and material science.

Their core technology has enabled them to create a stand alone rapid prototyping tool, called ATLANT 3D Nanofabricator, for micro and nanodevices with possibility for atomic layer 3D printing of micro- and nanostructures from a library of over 450 materials.

Customers from a wide range of industries, from semiconductor to medical fields have already shown interest implementing their technology in their R&D and product development.

The company was founded in 2018 by Dr. Maksym Plakhotnyuk, Ivan Kundrata, and Prof. Dr. Julien Bachmann with a vision of delivering the first-ever atomic layer 3D printing technology to reshape the future atom by atom.

INAM met one of the funders, Maksym, during our 2019 AdMaCom program. Since then, they've taken part of the Sony Accelerator program, they've been chosen for the Merck Accelerator and they have also received a €3 Million grant from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 “Fast Track to Innovation” programme.
