INAM, the Innovation Network for Advanced Materials announces Guardion as an ADMACOM 2022 finalist. Alongside 11 other startups, Guardion joins the 8th edition of the Advanced Materials accelerator program, ADMACOM.
Guardion is redefining trace detection with advances in 2D materials, making more efficient industrial process monitoring, more portable chemical analysis equipment, and more sensitive counter weapons of mass destruction tools.
Our vision is a future where every cell phone, computer, and drug is created using Guardion enabled technologies. We are revolutionizing the core analytical process that enables mass spectrometers, ion mobility spectrometers, vacuum sensors, and X-ray sensing by eliminating vacuum condition requirements, eliminating high voltage systems, improving sensitivity, and increasing portability.
What’s new and innovative:
Guardion exploits unique properties of 2D materials and nanomaterials that allows us to get 1,000,000x amplification while requiring less than a volt to operate. This is remarkable on its own, but we have demonstrated that we can eliminate vacuum pumping requirements as well as high voltage systems. There is nothing currently on the market that can do this.
