Advanced Materials Competition 2022 Finalist: Low Sulphur Fuels

INAM, the Innovation Network for Advanced Materials announces Low Sulphur Fuels as an ADMACOM 2022 finalist. Alongside 10 other startups, the winner of Continental’s Open Innovation Challenge with INAM, Low Sulphur Fuels, joins the 8th edition of the Advanced Materials accelerator program, ADMACOM.



Low Sulphur Fuels has a developed a unique chemical recycling process to convert used oils, rubber tyres and plastics to produce circular outputs that are used to make new plastics, chemicals, rubber tyres, biofuels, and other industrial products. Low Sulphur Fuels also produces recovered Carbon Black when processing used tyres.




What’s new and innovative:

Low Sulphur Fuels has developed and patented an electrochemical process that delivers a highly saturated distillate that is low in contaminants.
