Job Description: Intern / Working Student

 

What would dreamers do without those who believe in their dreams - without the support? At INAM e.V., the Innovation Network for Advanced Materials, we help dreamers with a scientific idea turn it into marketable products.

 

Through the help of our network of first-class partners from research, VCs and industry, we offer startups the necessary access to research infrastructure to production, financing and market access. We do this through our programs, starting with our incubator, AdMaLab, which brings the brightest ideas from the lab bench to commercialization, our unique accelerator programs, AdMaCom and AdMaCom scale, which deal with early and later stages of growth in startups and our Open Innovation Challenges, which connects corporates to a startup that can solve their problem. We hold monthly meetings for our members, round tables on sub-topics in materials (ex. Photonics, Printed Electronics etc.), Founders Hour (for individualized startup support) and provide highly informative external newsletters and reports for our members.

 

To help us support deep tech startups in reaching their potential, INAM e.V. is looking for an Intern / Working Student. Your role will be to support INAM’s business development efforts in attracting the best and brightest new Advanced Materials startups to our network.

 

Your tasks:

• Interacting with relevant key stakeholders including corporates, startups, investors, researchers and partners.

• Scouting for cutting edge high tech startups to participate in INAM programs

• Researching key success metrics of startups in INAM’s network

• Support keeping the INAM startup database up-to-date

What you bring to the table:

• Passion for tech entrepreneurship

• Structured work and attention to detail

• Good conceptual thinker and an excellent communicator with a sense of ownership and initiative

• Reliability and punctuality

• Fluent English, German would be beneficial

• Residence in Berlin is ideal

• Science background is beneficial but not compulsory
